$1 the first month. $0 for email. Forever.
Rocket.net is fast and they don't hike renewals — credit where it's due. They also don't host your mail. JuJu is one price from day one: site, domain registration and yearly renewal, 10 mailboxes. $19.95/mo or $199/yr. No $1 hook.
We're not the cheapest host. We're the one that just works.
The "what you see is what you get" shopper
This page is for the Rocket.net shopper who likes straight pricing and then notices the FAQ: they don't offer email.
You want a managed WordPress site with object cache on. You don't want to open Google Workspace and a registrar to finish the job. You don't want a $1 month that trains you on a $30 habit.
You have a brochure or SMB site, not an agency tier with 25 installs. You want 60 days to decide, not 30, and a free move. If you have time left on Rocket, we add that time to your JuJu plan — up to 12 months, at our price. We don't write a check. If you need Cloudflare Enterprise edge and unlimited PHP workers on a 250k-visit-class stack, stay on Rocket — this page isn't that argument.

Both include Redis — no dash for Rocket here. The wedge is email and the $1 intro, not object cache.
The surprise isn't renewal — it's what was never on the invoice
| Path | Hosting | Domain | 3-year total | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| JuJu annual | $597 | $0 | $0 | $597 |
| Rocket annual Starter + .com + Workspace | $900 | separate | +$252 | ~$1,183 |
| Rocket monthly + $1 intro + .com + Workspace | $1,051 | separate | +$252 | ~$1,334 |
Rocket doesn't hike the host at renewal — the surprise isn't a year-2 hosting price. The surprise is everything that never was on the invoice: mail, and the domain.
Assumptions: one WordPress site. Rocket annual Starter $25/mo = $300/yr × 3 = $900 (we don't apply the $1 first month to the annual 3-year total); the monthly row is $1 month 1 then $30 × 35. Domain is a separate registrar bill — roughly $10–23/yr, not shown as a JuJu-precise figure. Email is Google Workspace Business Starter at the list $7/user/mo (one user) = $252 over three years. JuJu $199/yr with domain, 10 mailboxes, and Redis included.
No email. A $1 intro vs a price that was always the price.
Rocket.net's pricing page is clear: $1 first month, then the plan you picked, and they won't raise that plan at renewal. That part's clean — we won't invent a renewal trap they don't have.
They're also clear about email: they don't offer it, and send you to Google Workspace. That's a second product, a second bill, and MX records you now own. They don't include a domain in the host price either — you keep a registrar.
JuJu's number is the number. $19.95/mo or $199/yr. Domain registration and yearly renewal. Ten mailboxes. Redis on. No $1 month to explain later.
Redis isn't the wedge here — they include it, so do we. (The old July 2026 homepage table that put a dash in Rocket's Redis cell was wrong; we've fixed it.) Their refund window is 30 days, Enterprise excluded; ours is 60 on hosting. A migration needs time to settle.
A different performance story — no fake speed test
10 GB NVMe, 256 MB PHP, one site, ten mailboxes. Rocket Starter is also 10 GB, but they give you 50 GB bandwidth, unmetered visits on the current card, and unlimited PHP workers — a different performance story than 256 MB PHP memory. We won't imply we're that edge platform.
This SKU is a brochure / SMB WordPress site — not a huge WooCommerce catalog, not 25 installs, not their Expert or Agency grid. If the reason you opened Rocket was "fastest host, Cloudflare Enterprise, unlimited workers," this page won't talk you out of it with a speed test we didn't run. Running several sites? Let's talk volume.
