JUJU Hosting, a group entity identified in the Terms of Service (“JUJU”), provides web hosting, domain name registration, and related products and services.
JUJU is dedicated to ensuring the highest level of data privacy when offering its diverse range of quality products and services to JUJU customers and subscribers (“Subscribers”) (collectively, “You” or “Users”).

When this Policy mentions “JUJU”, “we”, “us”, or “our”, it refers to JUJU Hosting, which is responsible for the protection of your personal information in line with this Privacy Policy (“Data Controller”).
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how JUJU processes information that can be used to directly or indirectly identify an individual (“Personal Data”) collected on our website, services (“Service”), forums, and mobile applications (“Platform”).

Failing to provide this data or deleting/objection to its processing may result in the de-activation of your JUJU Hosting Account.
- Account Signup Information. When you sign up to JUJU Hosting, we require your email address and password. In certain cases, we may also request your first and last name, identity verification, and contact details—particularly when registering a domain name, which requires WHOIS information.
- Login Information. We collect Login scope and Email scope from Google (see Google OAuth Scopes) and email, name, and surname (depending on your choice) from Facebook (Meta).
- Identity Verification. To comply with Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) regulations for domain registrations, JUJU Hosting may collect identity documents (passport, ID, or driving licence).
- Payment Information. We may collect financial details to process payments for services like web hosting or domain registration. Payments are handled by third-party processors; we only retain information like payment status and the last four digits of your card.
- Communications, Chats, Messaging. We collect details of communications through our website (e.g., chat windows). This includes any information provided in your JUJU Hosting Account or purchase history to address your inquiries.
- Job Applicants’ Information. Applications for open roles via JUJU Hosting Careers or email are processed as described in Section 5 below.
- Visitors and Users of our Customers’ Websites. We collect data about visitors of our customers’ websites on their behalf (“Users-of-Users”).
You may also provide information through forms, surveys, promotions, or other features. Avoid posting sensitive data publicly on the JUJU Hosting Platform. Content uploaded or shared within your account is at your own risk.

Right to Delete Your Data
You can access, edit, or delete contact details in your JUJU Hosting Account. Email deletion is only possible during account deactivation, which requires sending a request to support@jujuhosting.com.
Information Related to Calls or Meetings
JUJU Hosting may record calls or meetings for quality management. Data processed includes email, date/time, duration, and recording (audio/video). Recordings are retained for 30 days before deletion. Processing is based on:
- Legitimate interests (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)); or
- Your consent, when you enable video recording or provide voluntary data (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).
3.2. Information We Collect When You Use the Platform
When using JUJU Hosting, we may collect information about your interactions and usage for contractual performance, legal compliance, or legitimate interests in improving functionality and security.
- Log Data and Device Information. This includes IP address, browser type, ISP, operating system, and timestamps.

- To Register Domains. Domain registration information may be made available to the public through a “WHOIS” search, as required by ICANN or specific registries. JUJU Hosting stores this information and makes it accessible as per ICANN rules. We may also deposit domain registration information with a third-party escrow provider to meet these requirements. - To Contact You. We may contact you regarding your account, troubleshooting issues, resolving disputes, collecting payments, conducting surveys, or sending updates about JUJU Hosting. Communication may occur via email, phone, text, or portal messages.
- To Handle Sales-Related Inquiries. If you reach out with questions about our services or potential purchases as a prospective customer, we will use the information you provide to assist you and follow up on your inquiries. Communication data will be retained for 90 days before being securely deleted.
- To Get Feedback. We may invite you via email to review our services and products. This feedback helps us improve our offerings. We may use external companies to collect feedback and share relevant information like your name and email for this purpose.

Each of our Users can collect and manage information, including personal data, via their website or services. Such information and personal data are then stored with JUJU Hosting. For these purposes, within the meaning of the GDPR, JUJU Hosting may in certain limited cases, as specified in our Terms of Service, be considered a “data processor” of information pertaining to visitors and users of our Users’ websites or services. The Users controlling and operating such User websites shall be considered the “data controllers” of such information and are solely, fully, and completely responsible and liable for complying with all laws and regulations that apply to the collection and control of such data, including all relevant privacy and data protection laws.
Users are solely and fully responsible for the security, integrity, and authorized usage of information related to visitors and users of their websites or services, as well as for obtaining necessary consents, permissions, and providing fair processing notices required for the collection and use of such data.
JUJU Hosting has no direct relationship with the individual visitors and users of our Users’ websites or services whose personal data it processes. If you are a customer of any of our Users and wish to make requests regarding your personal data, please contact the respective User(s) directly.

7. DIRECT MARKETING AND SERVICE EXPIRATION NOTICES/RENEWAL REMINDERS
When creating an account on our platform, and subject to the available preferences, you can choose to give consent and/or opt out of receiving various offers and/or notices directly via email, phone (SMS or WhatsApp messages), or in your account. We use the contact details and preferences you provide for direct marketing purposes (sending offers or newsletters) and/or for service expiration notices/renewal reminders.

If you would like to stop JUJU Hosting from using your personal information, you may request that we erase it and close your JUJU Hosting account.
After account deactivation, we will retain the following data for compliance with applicable legal requirements (such as tax, accounting, legal reporting, anti-money laundering (AML), or other obligations) for as long as required by law:
- A profile with depersonalized information (e.g., your email changed to user@deleted.com, and your name, surname, and contact details erased), including records of purchased services, login history, and payment transactions.
Additionally, JUJU Hosting may retain some of your personal information under these circumstances:
- Legitimate Business Interests: For fraud detection, prevention, and enhancing safety. For example, if your account is suspended for safety reasons, we may retain certain information to prevent you from opening a new account in the future.
- Legal Compliance: To fulfill obligations related to tax, auditing, or legal reporting.
- Publicly Visible Information: Forum posts or other publicly available content may remain visible but disassociated from your identity after your account is deactivated.
- Backup Systems: Residual copies of your personal information may remain in backup systems for a limited period to safeguard against accidental or malicious data loss.
- Dispute Resolution and Agreements: To resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect JUJU Hosting’s legitimate interests.
