Terms Privacy Refunds

This Privacy Policy explains how James Taylor is IT, LP (d/b/a JuJu Hosting) ("we," "us") collects, uses, and shares personal data when you visit our site or use our Services, and the rights you have. For personal data we process about our customers' own end users, we act as a processor on the customer's behalf; for our own site, marketing, and account data we act as a controller.

1. Data we collect

  • Account & billing: name, email, password (hashed), and billing details. Card numbers are handled by our PCI-DSS-compliant processors — we do not store full card data.
  • Usage & technical: IP address, browser/device data, pages viewed, server and security logs, and metrics needed to operate and protect the Services.
  • Cookies & similar: a session cookie strictly necessary to sign in, and — only with your consent — analytics/advertising identifiers from the tools in §5.
  • Communications: messages you send us (support, contact form).

2. How we use it & legal bases (GDPR)

  • Provide the Services / perform our contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): create and run your account, process payments, provide support.
  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): secure the platform, prevent fraud and abuse, operate and improve the Services, basic first-party measurement.
  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): non-essential analytics and advertising cookies/pixels; you may withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): tax, accounting, and lawful requests.

We do not sell your personal data for money.

3. Sharing & sub-processors

We share personal data only with service providers acting on our instructions, and with authorities where legally required. Current sub-processors:

ProviderPurposeRegion
Stripe, Inc.Card payment processingUSA/global
Cloudflare, Inc.Authoritative DNSUSA/global
OpenProvider (Hostnet B.V.)Domain registrationEU (Netherlands)
Meta Platforms, Inc.Advertising & conversion pixel (consent-gated)USA/global
Google LLCAnalytics & Ads (GA4/Google Ads, consent-gated)USA/global
TikTok / ByteDanceAdvertising pixel (consent-gated)USA/global

4. International transfers

We are based in the United States and our providers may process data in the U.S. and elsewhere. Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA/UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum) and, where applicable, providers' certifications under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

5. Cookies, analytics & advertising

We use a strictly-necessary session cookie to keep you signed in (no consent required). With your consent we also use: Google Analytics 4 (analytics), and the Meta, Google Ads, and TikTok pixels (advertising/conversion measurement). These set cookies and share online identifiers with those providers. For visitors in the EEA/UK these do not load until you accept in our consent banner, and you can change or withdraw consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

6. Data retention

We keep account and billing records for as long as your account is active and thereafter as required for legal, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes (typically up to 7 years for financial records). Security and server logs are kept for a limited period. On account closure, Customer Content is deleted after a reasonable retention window.

7. Your rights

EEA/UK (GDPR/UK GDPR): access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and the right to withdraw consent — plus the right to complain to your supervisory authority. California (CCPA/CPRA): the right to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of "sale"/"sharing" of personal information, without discrimination. Other regions may grant similar rights.

Exercise any of these from your panel's Privacy & data page (download or delete your data) or by emailing privacy@jujuhosting.com. We verify requests before acting and respond within the timeframe the law requires.

8. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, network segmentation, monitoring, malware scanning, and a web application firewall. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your data and will notify affected users and regulators of a breach where the law requires.

9. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

10. EU/UK representative & contacts

Data controller: James Taylor is IT, LP, 28 Medical Drive · Amarillo, Texas, 79106 · United States. Privacy contact / data-protection matters: privacy@jujuhosting.com. (An EU/UK Article 27 representative will be named here where required.)

11. Changes

We'll post updates here with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the panel.
